Easy Recipe Grilled Short Ribs
This easy grilled short ribs recipe keeps things simple while delivering big flavor. A quick marinade of soy sauce, garlic, lime, and a touch of heat soaks into the meat, creating a rich, slightly sweet, and savory profile.
Once on the grill, these marinated short ribs cook fast and develop a deep char while staying tender inside. Paired with grilled scallions, it’s an easy, balanced dish that works for both weeknight dinners and casual grilling.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon dark sesame oil
1/2 cup chopped scallions
1 garlic clove, chopped
1 teaspoon hot sauce
Juice from one lime
Salt and pepper
2 1/2 pounds short ribs
1 bunch scallions, trimmed and tossed in olive oil with salt
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a large ziplock bag or large mixing bowl.
Place ribs in bag/ bowl covered with marinade and seal it.
Let marinate in the refrigerator for 2 to 4 hours.
Heat grill to high and add ribs and scallions.
Cook ribs about 3 to 4 minutes each side, about 10-12 minutes total, browning all sides. Meat should feel tender.
Scallions are ready when they are slightly charred and wilted.
Place short ribs and scallions on the platter and serve straight from the grill.
