Shawarma-Spiced Chicken Thighs
Easy Shawarma-Spiced Chicken Thighs
These tender, juicy chicken thighs are marinated in warm Middle Eastern spices and grilled or roasted to perfection. Perfect for rice bowls, wraps, or salads.
Ingredients:
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
3 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp plain Greek yogurt
Juice of 1 lemon
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp ground coriander
½ tsp cinnamon
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a large bowl, mix olive oil, yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, and all spices.
Add chicken thighs and toss to coat evenly. Cover and marinate at least 2 hours or overnight.
Preheat grill or oven to 400°F (200°C).
Grill or roast chicken for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until cooked through.
Serve over rice, with flatbread, or as a wrap with tahini sauce and veggies.
